Learn about an Internship With Sweet Tomatoes
Representatives from Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes stopped by the HRM building today, February 6, 2013 to talk to students about their college internship program. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Jeff Illson ('11), general manager, and Kamie (O'Hanian) Porter ('11), recruiter/NAU alum, talked to students about this opportunity and handed out pamphlets.
The internship is part of a 12-week program of management training. Students will work closely with managers to build their leadership skills and become comfortable with the operations and procedures involved in running a restaurant.
The company is looking for motivated, hard-working students who can multi-task. Participants must be of sophomore level or higher and be able to commit either 30 hours/week for 10 weeks or 25 hours/week for 12 weeks.
For further questions, Illson and Porter will be hosting an informal fireside chat from 5:30-7 p.m. tonight which they encourage interested applicants to attend.
