HRM Hospitality Career Fair Fall 2012

September 26, 2012 was the HRM Hospitality Career Fair from 10 a.m.–2 p.m.  The first hour was for seniors only.

The fair generated a buzz in the hallways that was filled with positive excitement, eager students, and interested employers.

Students looking for full-time placements were thrilled to learn that many of the companies are currently hiring for their desired positions. Many students also found it appealing that the variety of companies in attendance was not limited to hotels and restaurants. 

Employers verbalized that this was the best career fair thus far. They were very impressed with the planning, floor set up, and with how prepared the students were with their resumes and appropriate business attire.

Career Fair would not have been successful without the help of the volunteer staff. Matt Prausa, volunteer coordinator, attended the fair and was very polite, prepared, and invested the help of freshman through senior volunteers. Juleene Boger, café coordinator, provided wonderful meals.
